Muhlenberg County Schools are closed until Tuesday of next week due to illness.
In a Tuesday afternoon statement, the district says the closing is due to a significant number of confirmed cases of the flu and flu-like symptoms.
Muhlenberg County students will return to school Tuesday and employees will report Monday for a staff work day.
