Oyler resigns as Todd Schools superintendent

Todd County School System Superintendent Ed Oyler has resigned.

He presented his letter of resignation to the school board Thursday night, saying his decision was after “much reflection, careful thought, and consideration.”

Oyler doesn’t give a reason for his resignation in the letter.

He outlined some of his work over the last two years—noting construction projects on athletic facilities, efforts to make the district more transparent and supporting staff at each school to positive impact student achievement.

Oyler thanked faculty and staff for their expertise and professionalism.

He has served over 14 years as an administrator with Todd County Schools and says he will “always be grateful for having the opportunity to serve as superintendent.”
