Russellville Independent Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday due to illness.
Superintendent Bart Flener released a statement saying due to the number of confirmed student illnesses across the district, Russellville Independent schools will close Thursday and Friday with plans to reopen on Monday.
He adds that any announcements regarding extracurricular activities will come from the individual school principals.
