Christian, Todd, Trigg clerks receive grants to preserve local records

The Christian, Trigg and Todd County clerks’ offices have received grant funding for preservation of local records.

The Department for Libraries and Archives within the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet announced 25 recipients of more than $575,000 of the Local Records Grant Program funds to preserve and manage local government records.

Christian County received about $18,500, Trigg County received nearly $32,000 and Todd County received just under $4,000.

A news release says, “The Local Records Program helps to preserve, protect and make available records with continuing archival value and assist local agencies with records management through direct services, training and grant support.”
