Murray man arrested on child porn charges

An investigation by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch has led to the arrest of a Calloway County man on child porn charges.

State police say in investigation began when it was discovered 57-year old James Harper of Murray was allegedly sharing files of sexual exploitation online.

A search warrant was executed at Harper’s home on Tuesday, resulting in his arrest on 44 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
