Murray State announces football coaching staff

New Murray State head coach Dean Hood announced the hirings of eight full time staff members Monday. The group brings 69 years of coaching experience collectively totaling 46 years at Division I level including nine years of coordinator-level experience. Together, this staff has developed three NFL draft picks, two All-Americans and 28 all-conference selections.

The new coaches are Ben Hodges, who will serve as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Johnson Richardson will be offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator, Evan McKissack will be tight ends and running backs coach, Frederick Walker will be wide receivers coach, Dillon Sanders will be defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach, Chris Cunningham will serve as special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach, Yon Boone will be outside linebackers coach and Darius Hart will be defensive line coach.
