Woman arrested for felony assault

An investigation by Hopkinsville police Sunday morning led to the arrest of a woman for felony assault.

An arrest citation for 33-year old Sierra Breadfort of Hopkinsville say she and another woman were involved in an altercation in Oak Grove that escalated again when they arrived at a South Vine Street residence in Hopkinsville.

That’s when Breadfort allegedly used a box-cutter type knife to cut the victim’s arm, causing a laceration about two-inches long.

Police say both women had other minor injuries, but it was unknown when and where those occurred.

Breadfort is charged with second-degree assault (domestic violence).
