Five people were displaced after a home on Rose Drive sustained smoke damage in a small fire that began in the kitchen Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Henderson says the residents of 1017 Rose were able to safely evacuate and no one was injured.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the displaced residents.
