Hopkinsville dismantled University Heights 53-31. The Lady Tigers led 20-5 at the end of the first quarter and cruised to the win. Hopkinsville was led in scoring by Shaterra Bellamy with 16 points, Jakayla Epps added 13 and Lakayla Samuel had 11 as the Lady Tigers improved to 11-11 overall and wrap up district play 5-1. Hopkinsville plays at Trigg County Monday night. University Heights got 11 points from Lily Hendricks in falling to 5-14 and 1-3 in the 8th district. The Lady Blazers have lost eight games in a row and play at Christian County Tuesday night.
