A bicyclist was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after his bike was struck by an SUV near the North Drive McDonalds.
A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 18-year old Brandon Crider of Hopkinsville was headed south on his bicycle when the left side of his bike was hit by a southbound SUV driven by 71-year old Joyce Adams of Hopkinsville.
Crider was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Adams kept driving, but later returned to the scene after being chased down by a witness. She reportedly said she’d pay for the bicycle and then left again.
