The City of Hopkinsville will host a ‘sendoff party’ for Mayor Carter Hendricks and Idalia Luna on Friday afternoon.
As previously reported, Mayor Hendricks is resigning at the end of the month to become executive director of the Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Council. Luna has worked as assistant to the mayor and is leaving that position to become executive director of the Human Rights Commission.
The sendoff party will go from 4 until 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Sportsplex.
