Tavieon Hollingsworth tied his career high with 30 points, and WKU made 27 of 31 free throws to hand Charlotte its first conference loss with an 80-63 victory at E.A. Diddle Arena. The Hilltoppers improved to 12-6 overall and 5-1 in Conference USA and play at Marshall Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, the Lady Toppers got back in the win column on Saturday evening in Charlotte with a 60-56 win against the 49ers. WKU is back in action next Saturday at Marshall.
