Austin Peay’s Terry Taylor has won yet again the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week Award. Taylor averaged 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds and hit 46.7% from the field as the Governors improved to 4-0 in OVC play. He had 27 points & 12 rebounds in win over Tennessee Tech.
Meanwhile, Governor freshman Carlos Paez was named the OVC Freshman of the Week. Paez averaged 13 points, 4.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds in two wins last week. He had all of his 16 points in the 2nd half in come-from-behind win over Jacksonville State. Austin Peay plays at Southeast Missouri Thursday night.
