A Christian County Jail inmate escaped Friday night from a work detail.
Kentucky State Police say 38-year old Wayne Eldridge Weeks of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky walked away from his work release location at the Christian County Senior Center on West Seventh Street.
Weeks is a white male, standing about 6-feet tall and weighing approximately 260 pounds. He was last seen wearing a turquoise short sleeve shirt, a dark blue lightweight jacket and jeans. He has brown hair and brown eyes and several tattoos.
He was being held in the jail for felony receiving stolen property, bail jumping and drug possession.
