Local musician and Princeton native Alonzo Pennington has filed to run for state Representative in District 4.
Pennington, a Democrat, will oppose Republican incumbent Representative Lynn Bechler of Marion.
Pennington ran an unsuccessful campaign against Paul Walker in the 2018 Democratic primary for the 1st District U.S. Representative seat.
District 4 includes all of Caldwell, Crittenden and Livingston counties and a portion of Christian County.
Meanwhile, there are now four candidates for the District 1 seat on the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
Three Paducah residents—Jason Coltharp, Jenny Hines and Chris McNeilll—all filed to run against Webster Circuit Judge Rene Williams.
