Players from Kentucky and Louisville’s men’s and women’s basketball teams were named to the John R. Wooden Midseason watch list Wednesday night. Kentucky has two players on the men’s list in Ashton Hagans and Tyrese Maxey and Louisville has Jordan Nwora.
On the women’s side, Kentucky’s Rhyne Howard and Louisville’s Dana Evans made the list. The Wooden Award is considered the most prestigious honor in college basketball and presented by the Los Angeles Athletic Club.
