Hopkinsville pulled away for a 61-48 victory over Fort Campbell Friday night at Tiger Gym. Don Victor had a game high 33 points, including six three pointers for the Tigers, who improved to 7-6 overall and 1-1 in 8th district play. Fort Campbell was led by Cameron Pratt’s 20 points in falling to 5-7 and 0-2 in district games. Hopkinsville returns to action Saturday afternoon hosting Bardstown, with the First Financial Bank pregame show at 4:15 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com. Fort Campbell is back in action Monday night at Dawson Springs.
In the Girls game: Hopkinsville routed Fort Campbell 57-12 in 8th district play at Tiger Gym. LaKayla Samuel led Hopkinsville with 22 points as the Lady Tigers won their third straight game in improving to 7-6 and 2-1 in district play. Hopkinsville plays at Madisonville Tuesday night. Fort Campbell had all of their points on four three point goals and were led in scoring by Arianna McDaniel with six points. The Lady Falcons are 0-10 and 0-3 in the district and host Pleasant View Christian Tuesday night.
