The gyms will be empty the next couple of days due to Christmas but will become busy again with holiday events the day after Christmas. Locally, area teams will for the most part, return to action beginning Friday.
Boys: Christian County faces Butler Friday afternoon at the Ashland Invitational, Hopkinsville also plays Friday against Great Crossing in the Roy’s BBQ/ 1st Southern National Bank Tournament at Logan County and University Heights faces Somerset at the Lake Cumberland Holiday Hoops event.
Girls: Christian County meets host South Warren at the FNB Holiday Bash on Friday, Hopkinsville faces Dresden, TN at the Murray Bank Hardwood Tournament on Friday and University Heights will play in the Lady Warrior Christmas Tournament at Community Christian Academy that begins Thursday.
