Country music singer/songwriter Brice Long and his Back 2 Back Foundation are helping 62 families in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties have a merrier Christmas this week.
Long and his volunteers are delivering items and gifts needed by families having a difficult time across the region and he says they work in advance to determine what the greatest needs are this Christmas.
He says the community attending, supporting and sponsoring his annual summer concert fundraiser has allowed his Christmastime efforts to grow over the last 15 years.
Brent Gilkey chairs the Back 2 Back Foundation and says the effort also takes people giving of their time and talents.
Next year’s Brice Long and Friends concert will be July 25 at the Bruce Convention Center with more details to be announced in the coming months.
