Christmas at the Bend is coming up Saturday at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center and it’s a combination of fun and helping people have a merrier Holiday season.
Charles Turner says the event is from 11 until 1 Saturday at the facility on Metcalfe Lane. As always, families will create homemade Christmas cards for residents of local nursing homes who may not receive any other cards.
He says kids can also make crafts to take home and enjoy.
Children will also be able to take their photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Christmas treats and goodies will also be available throughout the event. Admission is $5 per car load and $10 for a bus.
