Power outage planned for Cadiz Substation

The planned power outage of the Cadiz Substation that had been postponed will now take place in the early morning hours of December 8.

According to Pennyrile Electric, there will be an interruption of electrical service Sunday Morning, December 8th at 12:01 a.m. and it is expected to last approximately three hours. It will affect 1,510 Pennyrile Electric members in the areas of Highway 124 East to 8920 Cerulean Road, Highway 139 North to 6320 Princeton Road, Wallonia and US 68 East from Cadiz to Gracey.

The outage is to allow for upgrading of equipment within the Cadiz Substation. In case of inclement weather, the interruption will be rescheduled for a later date.
