It appears Caldwell County will have a new football coach for the 2020 season. According to a post on the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s Job Opportunities page, the school is seeking applications. Waynee McGowan served as interim coach following the sudden death of David Barnes before the start of the 2019 season. The Tigers went 8-3 under McGowan, losing to Murray in the first round of the Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl.
