The Bowling Green Hot Rods and Lexington Legends announced today a two year home and home exhibition series beginning in 2020. The teams will play at Whittaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington on April 7th, with the return game to be played in Bowling Green in 2021. The teams once played against each other in the Class A South Atlantic League in 2009. Lexington is the two time defending South Atlantic League champions while Bowling Green won the Midwest League in 2018.
