The St. Louis Cardinals have announced the signing of pitcher Adam Wainwright to a one year contract. Wainwright was 14-10 with a 4.19 earned run average in 31 games. He recorded 153 strikeouts in 171 2/3 innings pitched in 2019. Wainwright will be in his 15th season with the Redbirds in 2020.
