Hopkins County has received approximately $466,500 in discretionary funds to go towards pavement and repairs on portions of three county roads.
According to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, resurfacing repairs address existing surface cracks, potholes, raveling, and base failures and the funds come from the Department of Rural and Municipal Aid.
The repairs will be made to portions of Farmers Crossing, High Banks Ferry Road and Logan Road and will create a safer roadway conditions. The road work will significantly improve the drivability of each route and will directly impact approximately 65 homes.
