The Carolina Panthers are placing quarterback Cam Newton on Injured Reserve, effectively ending his season. Newton suffered a foot injury earlier in the season that seemed to be lingering despite weeks of rest and rehab. Panthers general manager Marty Hurney says Newton was examined by two foot specialists who both agreed that he needs additional time for his injury to fully heal.
CBS Sports.com reports there’s rumors floating the Los Angeles Chargers may move to London. Though the Chargers say they are “fully committed” to moving into a new stadium shared by the Los Angeles Rams next year, the report states the Chargers would at least listen if London proved to be a viable option.
