Congressman Comer votes ‘no’ on impeachment resolution

Western Kentucky Congressman James Comer voted against the House impeachment resolution Thursday.

The Republican spoke on the House floor, saying he would have rather been voting for the United States Mexico Canada Agreement on trade.

He urged House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to allow a vote on the trade deal.

Kentucky’s four other Republican representatives voted no to the resolution and Congressman John Yarmuth, the Commonwealth’s lone Democrat, voted in favor.
