A man was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a single-vehicle accident early Thursday morning at the intersection of Oval Road and Antioch Church Road.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller investigated and says it appears the man drove across Oval and went down into a creek. The car remained in the creek for a while until the driver was able to dial 911 on his own.
Lacy firefighters and the Christian County Rescue Squad helped remove the driver and he was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart for head, neck and back injuries.
The driver’s name has not been released.
