The coldest weather of the season so far will move into western Kentucky Halloween night and a Freeze Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service from 10 p.m. Thursday through 10 a.m. Friday for all of western Kentucky.
Forecasters say temperatures will fall below freezing Thursday and then plummet into the mid to upper 20’s overnight and not get above freezing again until mid-morning Friday.
The National Weather Service says these temperatures will kill any unprotected vegetation, and this will likely end the growing season.
