University Heights advanced to the semifinals of the 2nd region volleyball tournament with a three sets to none win over host Madisonville last night. The Lady Blazers will face Crittenden County in the second semifinal match this evening after the Lady Rockets edged Webster County three sets to two.
The other semifinal match has Henderson County facing Caldwell County with the winners to meet in the championship match Thursday night.
Logan County downed host Glasgow three sets to none in quarterfinal action at the 4th region tournament last night. The Lady Cougars will face Greenwood in semifinal action this evening.
