Trigg Co. students get first in Lt. Governor Entrepreneurship Challenge

Kentucky Lt. Governor Jenean Hampton made a stop in Trigg County Thursday to present local students with the first place trophy for the Lt. Governor’s Entrepreneurship Challenge.

First place went to students Grace Knight and Cade Bleidt. The challenge is a statewide business pitch competition for all Kentucky high school students grades 9 through 12, intended to introduce students to entrepreneurship, promote business ownership, and encourage lifelong learning.

Knight is now a freshman at Murray State University and Bleidt is a senior at Trigg County High School.
