Hopkinsville police are investigating after the Family Dollar on East Ninth Street was robbed at gunpoint Monday night.
It happened about 9:30 p.m. and Officer Sarah Morris says a black male suspect wearing a mask entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money from employees. He fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash and police say he was wearing a blue t-shirt, jeans, a gray jacket and brown boots.
No one was injured and anyone with information on the suspect should call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
