Two arrested after toddler found walking near Boulevard

A man and woman were arrested for felony wanton endangerment Sunday afternoon after a toddler was found walking alone near Fort Campbell Boulevard and Locust Grove Road.

The boy was found walking near the Boulevard in the area of his home on Locust Grove Road at about 4:30 p.m., according to arrest citations for 28-year old Jennifer Abney and 25-year old Brandon Tagge of Hopkinsville, which say motorists stopped and helped get the toddler home.

Abney told Hopkinsville police she had brought all of their children in their home while she unloaded her vehicle and that the next thing she knew, someone was bringing her son back from the road.

Tagge reportedly said he was in a bedroom and didn’t realize the toddler was missing until his girlfriend came inside and told him a motorist had brought him back from the road.
