Christian County’s Hannah Sumner had an 89, missing the cut in the KHSAA Girls State Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club by one stroke. Two players-Olivia Hensley of Boyd County and Laney Frye of Lexington Christian had a three under 69 and lead the field by three strokes going into today’s final round.
Lexington Christian at 313 has a 20 stroke lead on South Warren in the team portion of the event going into the final round, Marshall County at 340 is tied for fourth and Madisonville at 362 is in eighth place.
