A Crofton man was indicted Friday for failing to comply with the sex offender registry.
The indictment against 40-year old James Edward Abell, Jr. says that in June he failed to notify the Office of Probation and Parole of a change of address.
A check of the sex offender registry shows Abell was previously convicted of third-degree rape against a juvenile teenager.
