Sharon Grove man among two arrested on significant drug charges in Tenn.

A traffic stop Tuesday night in Stewart County, Tennessee led to the arrest of two people—including a man from Todd County—on several significant drug charges.

Stewart County sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 149 and a K9 alerted on the automobile, according to a news release.

Police say a search turned up about 71 grams of methamphetamine, about 21 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, several pills determined to be ecstasy and Alprazolam and over $3,100 in cash.

Both occupants of the vehicle—39-year old Jason Mock of Sharon Grove and 21-year old Suella Phillips of Palmyra, Tennessee—were arrested for several drug manufacturing, possession or distribution charges.
