Gov announces funds to resurface two Guthrie streets

Two city streets in Guthrie will be resurfaced, thanks to discretionary funds announced Monday by Governor Matt Bevin.

He announced at Guthrie City Hall that the city is receiving about $111,000 for resurfacing work on Third Street and Kendall Street, according to Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield.

Governor Bevin had lunch at the L&R Soda Fountain on the Elkton Public Square between his stops in Hopkinsville and Guthrie.
