Dates set for general election absentee voting

If you know you can’t make it to your polling place on November 5 for the general election, there are a couple options to cast an absentee vote.

Todd County Clerk Cindy O’Bryan says the first option is you can contact your local county clerk’s office and request an application for a mail-in absentee ballot.

She says there will be in-house absentee voting at the Todd County Clerk’s Office beginning October 18.

Christian County Elections Coordinator Melinda Humphries says three weeks of in-house absentee voting at the Christian County Clerk’s Office on Monday, October 14.

There is no early voting in Kentucky, so voters have to give a reason why they are not able to make it to their polling location between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on November 5 in order to cast an absentee ballot.
