A Hopkinsville native was killed in a helicopter accident earlier this month in Ecuador.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday at Maddux-Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home for 39-year old Bradley Scott Tomberlin, who was living in Lima, Peru. An obituary says he was working as Operations Manager, South America for New-Sense Geophysics SAC.
The company’s website says they provide airborne land surveys using fixed-wing and helicopter platforms.
An Ecuador news service says both people on board died when the Eurocopter AS 350B3 crashed on the morning of September 15 in a rural area of Ibarra. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
