Hopkinsville Police arrested Lamarcus Hickman Jr. of Hopkinsville for second-degree assault after he reportedly struck a man in the head with an object on Saturday.
Officers contacted a man in the Jennie Stuart Medical Center emergency room who reportedly suffered a significant injury to the back of his head that required 10 staples. The victim told officers that Hickman struck him with a blunt object resulting in the injury.
Hickman was later located and he was taken to the Christian County Jail after he was medically cleared due to a hand injury.
