Hopkinsville Police arrested 28-year-old Jacorion Murray of Hopkinsville for drug trafficking on Thursday after 275 grams of suspected methamphetamine was reportedly found in his vehicle.
Local officers were notified by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office concerning a vehicle that had fled from law enforcement and was registered to a Hopkinsville address. At the residence, officers found Murray and the vehicle.
The vehicle reportedly contained a bag of marijuana that was visible from the outside. Officers then conducted a probable cause search, which reportedly unveiled 275 grams of suspected meth and 15 grams of suspected marijuana.
Murray was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
