Kurt Anderson has served as the executive director of Aaron McNeil House, Inc. for nearly 15 years, and on Monday, the nonprofit’s board of directors announced that he will be retiring in November.
Aaron McNeil House is a Hopkinsville nonprofit that hosts multiple services such as crisis assistance, youth education and their Emergency Food Assistance Program. According to a news release, Anderson has been instrumental in advancing the mission of Aaron McNeil House by expanding services, strengthening community partnerships and advocating for those in need.
Board of Directors Chair, Sondra Price says they are deeply grateful for the last impact Kurth has made on the lives of countless individuals and on the future of the nonprofit. Anderson calls it an honor to serve Aaron McNeil House and the community and says he is confident the organization will continue to grow and fulfill its important mission.
The board of directors and Anderson will now work on finding the next executive director of the nonprofit.
