Two of the hottest teams in the Ohio Valley League will meet tonight at Brooks Stadium as the Hoptown Hoppers take on the Paducah Chiefs.
Thursday was a night off for the league and Hoptown enters tonight’s game with a half-game lead over the Henderson Flash for first place in the league stadings with an 11-4 record.
Paducah is two games back in the standings and enter tonight’s game at 9-6. The Hoppers defeated the Chiefs 8-5 on Monday night.
Hoptown’s next home game is Saturday night against the Full Count Rhythm. It is Olivet Baptist Church Night and Military Appreciation Night at Tiger Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and airtime will be at 6:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
On Sunday, the Hoppers will play a home double header against Henderson.
