The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has finished its work and the intersection of KY 139 and Cerulean Road in Cadiz is back open to traffic.
That intersection was closed in April to allow for the realignment and reconstruction of the intersection. The project was part of the state’s Six-Year Highway Plan and represents an investment of $872,000. Work included roadway excavation, intersection realignment, storm water installation and both asphalt and concrete paving.
Some finishing work does remain to get the project 100 percent complete, but the roadway is now back open to traffic.
