Vehicular homicide suspect arraigned in Christian Circuit Court

Vehicular homicide suspect Gerasimos Livieratos was arraigned in Christian Circuit on Wednesday for his reported involvement in a fatal wreck.

On March 7, Livieratos attempted to make a U-turn on Fort Campbell Boulevard. As he was turning, Bernice Franklin of Clarksville collided with Liveieratos’ semi-truck. Franklin was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Livieratos is charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle while under the influence of a substance, possession of marijuana and other traffic-related offenses.

William Deatherage Jr. is Livieratos’ defense attorney, and Chris Woodall is the case’s special prosecutor. Deatherage requested that personal items be retrieved from the semi-truck, but Woodall says Kentucky State Police want to examine the vehicle before anyone else is granted access.

Livieratos will reappear in court on July 1.
