Hopkinsville Community College is ready to celebrate the graduates of their GED program, and they’re inviting the community to come celebrate with them on June 4.
According to a news release, the General Education Development Diploma ceremony will be held on June 4 at 7 p.m. in the HCC Auditorium Building, the Thomas L. Riley Lecture Hall. Kentucky Primary Care Association’s Sean Prescott will be by the keynote speaker.
Prescott has spent 18 years as a therapist and substance abuse counselor in Kansas, Missouri, and Kentucky. He is a resident of Hopkinsville and has been in Kentucky for the past 6 years with his family. Prior to his current position at Kentucky Primary Care Association, he was
a co-founder of New Beginnings Counseling Centers in Missouri.
Kentucky Adult Education provides free instruction for individuals who are preparing to take the GED to earn the High School Equivalency Diploma.
