To support students attending the Hopkinsville Regional Murray State University Campus, a new scholarship fund has been launched, and President Ron Patterson shared how folks can donate and apply.
At a recent Hopkinsville Rotary Club meeting, Patterson says they have been focused on creating more opportunities for students attending the regional campus, including establishing the Hopkinsville Scholarship Development Fund to raise $10,000. He says they have raised around $3,500 so far.
To apply for the scholarship, Patterson says all students have to do is complete the admission and general scholarship application process and select the regional campus as their studying location. Then, those interested in donating to the scholarship fund can visit murraystate.edu/giving or contact Tina Bernot from the Office of Development at 270-809-3250.
Patterson says the Hopkinsville regional campus is their first location to receive a specific scholarship fund and they have plans to establish funds at their other regional campuses
