Victim killed in Clarksville stabbing identified as Murray woman

The Clarksville Police Department has identified the victim killed in a domestic-violence homicide on Sunday.

As previously reported, officers responded to a residence on Stillwood Drive at approximately 9:30 a.m. Sunday for reports that a woman had been stabbed, and they arrived to find her suffering with multiple stab wounds. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Samarah Smith of Murray, was taken to Vanderbilt Clarksville, where she was pronounced deceased.

A suspect in her death, 21-year-old Cam’Ron Walker, was arrested at the scene and charged with homicide.
