Three local high school basketball players earned All-Region 2 Tournament Team honors as announced following Tuesday night’s boys’ region championship game at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School.
Hopkinsville High School’s James Bradley Jr and Jonovan Leavell were selected to the team.
Christian County’s Rahsean Stevenson also was chosen for the team.
Other members of the team include Union County’s Tashaun Murray, Livingston Central’s Logan Wring, Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Orion Underwood, Hopkins County Central’s Devaunyae Butcher and Channing Stone, Henderson County’s Amare Stewart, Xavion Johnson, and Braden Williams, and Lyon County’s Nolan Coffman, Bray Kirk, Isaac DeFew, and Cooper Collins.
Henderson County’s Tyler Smithhart was selected Region 2 Coach of the Year and Lyon County’s Bray Kirk was named the region’s Player of the Year.
