City of Madisonville announces musical lineup for 4th Fest

As the Fourth of July approaches, the City of Madisonville has announced a musical lineup featuring R&B, country, rock and hip-hop acts for this year’s 4th Fest.

Fourth Fest will be back at Madisonville City Park on July 3 and 4, and it will include around eight musical acts. Day one will include hip-hop and R&B acts ALL-4-ONE, Color Me Badd, Sugarhill Gang and Quad City DJ’s. Then, day two will include country and rock acts The Band Perry, The Lacs, Ashland Craft and Myles Gee.

The festival will also include food trucks, vendors, a beer garden and a firework show to conclude day two of the festival. Madisonville Mayor Kevin Cotton says they are anticipating one of their largest crowds yet as they celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary.

The music will continue at the city park on July 5 with Praise in the Park, but that lineup will be announced at a later date. Both music festivals are free to attend.
